No, we are an independent, privately-owned restaurant. Our one and only location is in Annapolis, Maryland at the Westfield Annapolis Mall.
WHO IS “PUNK”?
One of our founders had an uncle named “Punk,” a nickname he got from his schoolmates when he was a child due to his fire-red hair. Apparently, the other kids thought his red hair reminded him of the glowing tip of another punk—you know, that incense stick that is sometimes used to light fireworks. Anyway, red-haired Uncle Punk loved his grill, and our founder has wonderful childhood memories of being in Uncle Punk’s backyard, playing with cousins and neighbors, just waiting for Uncle Punk’s burgers, brisket, and roasted corn to come off that grill. It’s that spirit that Punk’s Backyard Grill celebrates—of family gatherings around the backyard grill, with neighbors and friends enjoying a summertime cookout, and everyone enjoying garden fresh, homemade food.
WILL THERE BE MORE PUNK’S LOCATIONS IN THE FUTURE?
Probably! We continue to get requests from people as far away as California...and that makes us very happy. People really love the combination of quality and value that Punk’s Backyard Grill offers. Right now, we are focusing on perfecting the customer experience at our flagship location in Annapolis. That is our home and our top priority. In the future, however, we intend to roll-out additional Punk’s Backyard Grill restaurants in other cities and towns across metropolitan Washington, DC.
CAN I OWN A PUNK’S BACKYARD GRILL FRANCHISE?

HOW CAN I BUY A PUNK’S GIFT CARD?
You can buy Punk’s Gift Cards by coming to the restaurant. Or, you can call the restaurant and ask for a Manager. The Manager will take your information over the phone, complete the transaction, and mail the gift card to you (or whomever you direct). Or, if you prefer, you can email us with your request, and we’ll contact you to confirm the details and complete the transaction.
CAN I BUY SOME FRESH CORN EARS FROM YOU, OR SOME OF YOUR HOMEMADE BARBECUE SAUCE?
You won’t believe how many times we get asked this question. If you really can’t find fresh corn in your grocery store because of the season, we’ll do our best to help you. We’ll also gladly give you some barbecue sauce if you can’t live without it. But our sauces and salsas (and our fresh ears of corn) are generally not separately for sale, at least not yet.

Because you’re smart! Once you join our e-Club, you’ll be kept informed of all the latest happenings at Punk’s. WILL PUNK’S CATER OUR OFFICE PARTY OR BACKYARD COOKOUT?
We sure will! We’ll do all the planning and cooking—you just have to contact us and tell us how many people you need to serve and how much you want to spend. Or, if you want to plan the menu yourself, you can review our catering menu and contact us with your order. Remember, Punk’s Backyard Grill doesn’t deliver, so you’ll have to come pick up your order. But we’ll cook it perfectly, and we’ll package it nicely so the hot stuff stays hot and the cool stuff stays cool. And we’ll give you all the napkins, cups, plates, and utensils that you create your own backyard cookout anywhere.
CAN I PURCHASE T-SHIRTS, HATS, CHEF COATS, AND OTHER PUNK’S® GEAR?
Of course! You can purchase everything by coming to the restaurant. Or, you can call the restaurant and ask for a Manager.
