Punk’s Backyard Grill® was founded on one simple idea: to re-create the classic American backyard cookout—complete with savory homemade food and a friendly, neighborhood atmosphere—for today’s busy, health-conscious lifestyle. That idea became a reality with the opening of the flagship Punk’s Backyard Grill at the Westfield Annapolis mall.

Punk’s Backyard Grill is, without question, about food. We use only the freshest, highest quality ingredients, and we make most everything from scratch. Every day, we’re roasting fresh corn, hand-trimming flat iron steak, pattying our all-natural beef, making salad dressings, and squeezing fresh limes for our margaritas. What we don’t make in-house (like our fluffy brioche buns, for example), we have made and delivered every day from local suppliers and farms.

But Punk’s is about more than just fresh, honest, wholesome food. It’s also about an experience—re-creating the comfortable nostalgia of a neighborhood backyard cookout, of neighbors hosting neighbors in true, genuine hospitality.

A key feature of the Punk’s Backyard Grill experience is our centerpiece grill, where guests can watch their food being prepared and interact with the Grillmasters. If you have a question about your food, or if just want some backyard grilling tips, feel free to ask our Grillmaster! They are experts with fire and meat, and they’ll be thrilled to share their tips and recommendations with you...and hear yours as well.

Kick back and relax in our dining room, where we’ve re-created a comfortable version of a backyard complete with live trees, white picket fences, teak patio furniture, and even umbrellas! Or, if the weather is nice, relax on our outdoor patio, soak up the sunshine and music. Indoors or outdoors, rain or shine, Punk’s is always welcoming, neighborly, and comfortable.
